Introducing the Notts Community and Research Partnership initiative
What is it?
The Notts Community and Research Partnership (Notts CRP) is a new initiative from Nottingham’s two universities. It seeks to understand some of the complex challenges that are important to our local communities and how research from our local universities should be shaped to address these.
Aims of the Notts Community and Research Partnership
- Establish and trial a partnership with local individuals/professionals/leaders etc., who have knowledge, insight, and experience of Nottingham City’s diverse communities.
- Collaborate with participants in this initiative to develop an informed understanding of the challenges most important to Nottingham City communities and how these challenges intersect and overlap.
- Use these mutually agreed priorities to direct the development of up to 15 new research projects that will be funded and delivered by the Co(l)laboratory research programme.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join the first trial of this initiative. For this first cycle, Notts CRP activity will consist of 5 events taking place from April to October 2024.
